How do I turn on hand tracking on VIVE Focus 3?
Here's how to turn on hand tracking features on
VIVE Business Streaming.
- On your computer, open the VIVE Business Streaming settings.
- Click Preferences.

Tracking, you can set the following:
Option Description Hand tracking is selected VIVE Business Streaming will emulate a controller for each hand to SteamVR and translate the finger pinch gesture as a trigger event. This lets apps that don't support hand tracking to still work.
Switch between using the controllers or hands by simply putting down the controllers (use hands to interact) or picking up the controllers (use controllers to interact).
Hand tracking is not selected VIVE Business Streaming will emulate hand poses (VR hand) based on controller input. Therefore, apps that require hand tracking will still work but won't have natural hand poses. Hand tracking and Hand and controller at the same time are selected With VIVE Focus 3 software (v. 5.0.999.514) and VIVE Business Streaming (v. 1.08), you can use one hand and one controller at the same time for VR apps that support this interaction method. Hand tracking and Use VIVE Wrist Tracker for hand tracking are selected VIVE Wrist Tracker will not be tracked by SteamVR and the VIVE Wrist Tracker icon won't show in the SteamVR window. The VIVE Wrist Tracker will be used to enhance hand tracking accuracy. Hand tracking is selected while Use VIVE Wrist Tracker for hand tracking is not selected VIVE Wrist Tracker is tracked by SteamVR as an object. You'll see the VIVE Wrist Tracker icon in the SteamVR window.
